"Wow!😏I really enjoyed the workshop! A special thanks to Rachel for sorting the border for me and to both of you for finding the quirky pieces of driftwood for me!"

" I had such a satisfying day at Boarsbarrow, making my appliqué portrait of my house. I learnt a lot of new skills, used new materials and met some lovely people! Lunch was delicious, and a good chance to get to know everyone else a bit more. The pace was just right, with time to achieve a lot without feeling rushed; we jumped straight in without too much preamble, and having just one day did make me focus and not dither too much. I was amazed to come away with a finished piece of work in just a few hours. The course was very good value for money, including all materials to create a finished piece and a wonderful home-made lunch. Lucy and Rachel were both very clear, helpful and encouraging, and I feel I have come away with the skills to have a go at home. I would thoroughly recommend the workshops, and can easily see why several of our group were on a second or third visit!" View her blog: http://fossilsinmypockets.co.uk/boarsbarrow-design/
